The initiative promotes the fact that a damaged note with staining on it is likely to be stolen note, and unites the manufacturers, installers and users of cash staining systems with the Government and Police.

Banknote Watch works extensively with the Police to assist in the fight against commercial robberies, and aims at preventing criminals profiting from the proceeds of crime, therefore reducing the risk of businesses becoming the victims of it.

The aim of Banknote Watch is to prevent criminals profiting from the proceeds of crime and reduce the risk of businesses becoming the victims of commercial robbery.
